Join us for a half-day workshop to explore specific opportunities for:
- Embedding data science research into Illinois courses
- Student engagement with data science projects outside of class (internships, REUs, etc.)
Participants will work in small groups to identify current challenges, best practices, and opportunities for collaboration.
We welcome participants from:
- Teaching faculty in Illinois X + Data Science programs
- X + DS program administrators
- Faculty who teach other data science-adjacent courses
- Campus data science infrastructure resource providers
- Education and outreach leaders of other data science-related projects on campus that have capacity for student engagement
